Singapore Cash Decision Intelligence
Methodology
How CashIntel decides
CashIntel is not a highest-rate table. It ranks Singapore cash and near-cash options by decision quality: whether the option is worth using now, for the kind of cash that can realistically sit there.
Core rule
A higher yield does not automatically win. CashIntel favours options that combine acceptable yield with the right liquidity, safety, simplicity, and source freshness.
Yield
The current Singapore-dollar yield after considering the product type, published rate, and expected return behaviour.
Liquidity
How easily cash can be moved back when the user needs it, including lock-up period, redemption timing, and withdrawal friction.
Safety
Whether the option is government-backed, deposit-insured, bank-based, or market-linked.
Simplicity
How many conditions, bonus tiers, minimum balances, platform steps, or timing rules the user must manage.
Freshness
How recently the rate was checked, whether it is automated or manually refreshed, and whether confidence is high enough to use.
What CashIntel includes
T-Bills, Singapore Savings Bonds, fixed deposits, savings accounts, cash management accounts, and Singapore-dollar cash funds.
What CashIntel avoids
Sponsored ranking overrides, irrelevant overseas rates, and product noise that does not change the user decision.
How the business tools use this
The business tools use the same decision-support principle: turn assumptions into a clearer action, warning, and next check. They should not be treated as accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
When a score can change
A recommendation can change when yields move, product terms change, liquidity becomes less attractive, source freshness weakens, or a simpler alternative becomes good enough.
Important
CashIntel is an information tool, not financial advice. Users should verify current product terms, eligibility, insurance treatment, and withdrawal rules before moving funds.
